How can Plastic Surgery Change your Face? (Before and After)

As we all already know, plastic surgery is rather popular in South Korea. It is said that if you ever wish to feel bad about your outer appearance, go and spend some time in Seoul, Korea. There are an eerily high number of individuals who look too good to be true. Thanks to advancement of plastic surgery technology, it is not impossible to alter your look anymore.

Unlike in many countries, the concept of plastic surgery is very well-accepted in South Korea. As a matter of fact, plastic surgery is actually a common high school graduation gift from parents as they believe better appearance gives you better opportunities in life (which can be true to certain extent). In South Korea, it is absolutely common to hear remarks from friends and family, like ‘you would look much better if you have your jaw shaped’.

The ‘before and after’ pictures below will show you: how can plastic surgery change your face. Check it out!

The most popular plastic surgery operations

One of the most popular operations would be eyelid surgery. It is commonly performed on South Korean in order to make their eyes look bigger. Next would be nose jobs to reshape the nose and make them look bigger as Asian tends to have smaller nose. Of course, one can always get the jawbone chiselled down (for a V-shaped look) or get a lip enlargement / reduction.

Celebrities Version

Needless to say, plastic surgery is not limited to commoners. There are a lot of celebrities who have gone through operations (multiple times for some!) in order to look more attractive. With respect, these celebrities / K-pop idols have gone through various operations and endured the pain in order to gain our love.

Below are some of the celebrities who have admitted to performing plastic surgery on their faces.

Let’s bash on them together (OR NOT!)

If you’re one of those people who love to go to online platforms / forum and criticise idols who gone through plastic surgery. Well, shame on you. In my personal opinion, I think it is a choice of free will and they can do whatever they want with their faces. To be frank, we have no right to hide behind the Internet and criticise them or whatsoever.

Imagine that you’re sponsored to perform plastic surgery on your face (you don’t have to pay a single penny), would you have the guts to do it? Point being, it takes courage and determination to undergo and endure the pain of operations. For that alone, I think it is pretty respectable.
